Job Title: General Manager - Full Time

Organization: Clear Creek Community Services District (CCCSD)

Location: 5880 Oak St. Anderson, CA

About the District: The Clear Creek Community Services District, established in 1963, is a California Special District located in southern Shasta County, Northern California. The District covers 21,670 acres (33.8 square miles) of agricultural, rural, and suburban land, providing water services through 100 miles of pipes and 2,252 service connections. It operates a 33MDG Water Treatment Plant that supplies drinking water to its customers and a neighboring water district.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

Experience:

Candidates should have administrative experience working in the water industry similar to the Clear Creek CSD.
Preferred to have at least five years of progressively responsible management or supervisorial experience working with staff and elected officials.
Knowledgeable in water management, treatment, distribution and regulatory compliance.
Comfortable public speaking, working a Board of Directors & community at large.
The manager will have the ability to provide technical assistance related to District operations, equipment / field equipment, and attend CCCSD Board of Directors meetings as well as other related business meetings.
Experience developing budgets, working with financial systems, audits and Capital financing plans. As well as developing annual and quarterly water availability forecasts.
The manager will have experience in working with both State and Federal agencies, and have a good knowledge of regulatory requirements as well as environmental concerns related to the industry.

Education:

General Manager candidate must be a High School graduate at a minimum. Credit will be give for college attendance, completion of an Associate Degree. B.S. or B.A. degree or Post Graduate work. Any combination of education and experience that in water distribution and water treatment, including certificates will be positively considered.

Certifications:

Valid Class C Driver’s License.

Compensation Package:

Salary:

The General Manager position is a salaried, exempt position.
The Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications and to be agreed upon with the successful candidate in an employment agreement.

Retirement membership in the CalPERS miscellaneous retirement plan Classic Tier 1; 2% at 55; Classic, Tier 2: 2%; PEPRA 2% at 62 (Depending on Candidate membership)

Vacation time: 3.08 hours per pay period (equivalent to 2 weeks/year).
