CLEAR CREEK COMMUNITY SERVICES DISTRICT
CANCELLATION OF BOIL WATER ADVISORY
February 9, 2021
Clear Creek CSD repaired a ruptured main on Hawthorne Avenue on Tuesday. To repair the main, customers along Hawthorne Avenue, between Kim Lane, and Strawberry Lane, down to the bottom of Happy Valley Road and 273, experienced a water outage or low pressures. Under these conditions, contaminated water can enter pipes and contaminate the rest of the water distribution system. As a result, Clear Creek CSD issued a Boil Water Advisory to those customers on February 6, 2021.
The repairs to the water main have been completed, the distribution pipes have been repressurized and flushed, and water sample results show that the water is now safe to drink.
It is no longer necessary for anyone in the Valley to boil your water.
