We all want safe drinking water for every Californian, especially those living in disadvantaged communities. Clear Creek C.S.D. is committed to working with local and state leaders on this critical social issue. But SB 623 is not the answer. It would turn our agency into a taxation entity that sends money to Sacramento. It also has other flaws. Simply put, it is just not sound policy.
